Shaving
How it works: Razor removes the tip of the hair shaft that has grown out of the skin. The different razors available are disposable, those with disposable blades, and electric razors.
How long it lasts: 1 to 3 days
Pros : Its inexpensive, all you need is warm water, a razor, and shaving gel or cream. You dont need an appointment as it is a do-it-yourself procedure.
Cons : Razor burn, bumps, nicks, cuts and ingrown hairs are some side effects. Ingrown hair occur when hair are cut below the level of the skin. These hair grow into the skin rather than growing out of the follicle. Can cause irritation, redness, and swelling.
